This dress comes from a boutique shop in Potomac, MD. It’s a size 10 and I had only minor alterations done to it (adding cups and hemming). I wore it for my May 2015 wedding. If you want a show-stopper dress that’s not a big ballgown, or crazy heavy crystals, this dress takes the cake. It’s unique and looks good on all skin tones. I just had it professionally cleaned and it’s in a box ready to go (will only need minor work on fixing a few beads that are loose and re-hemming the bottom- otherwise in perfect condition) This dress will not only blow away your significant other, it will blow away your guests…and you know who will love the dress more than anyone else? Your photographers. Our photographers told me and my husband that- “We’ve been photographing wedding for 10 years, and your dress is in our Top 5 favorites!”) Your photographers will love because the sheer parts of it look amazing- the sequins do amazing things in the light- they just about leapt for joy when I showed them the dress. So, if you want a dress that still is bridal, but definitely stands out in all the right ways, this dress is amazing! I’d love for another bride to wear it! The color is a champagne tone. The dress has gorgeous sequin patterns that brings out the curves in an elegant, romantic way. It’s a sweetheart style with this great illusion neck and back (without having to worry about the whole “strapless” thing). Just very flattering. I wore this dress at a farm/vineyard wedding, I think you can wear at any venue. I wore it with a train for photos and ceremony and then bustled it for the reception (it bustles wonderfully with the pattern). Here’s the official description: Chantilly lace wedding dress with a layer of embroidered tulle and silver and mother-of-pearl gemstone embroidery.
