About 6 inches were taken off the bottom. Taken in at the waist and bust. Snaps for a bustle added. Flowers taken off. This dress is so light, has pockets, and the inside is a body suit, so you don't need to worry about undergarments.
The waist measurements of the dress look closer to a 25" waist, but there is some stretch in the bodysuit/bodice. I wear a 27 in pants and it fit great.
